
Acer japonicum ‘Oregon Fern’
Japanese Full Moon Maple - Oregon Fern
Deeply disssected leaves look similar to that of ‘Green Cascade’ and resemble that of a fern. Light green in the spring by the summer the foliage has turned a dark green. Fall transforms the foliage to ruby red. Grows 6′ high and wide in a 10 year period.

Parentage unknown. Selection by Maplewood Nursery, Oregon.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Well workable, moist but well draining slightly acidic soil. Dislikes heavy clay soils.
Maintenance: Selective pruning as needed, can be done during winter up until early August.
