A semi-dwarf Korean Fir which is noted to be one of the most bluest cultivars of all firs. Stunning purple cones. Pyramidal, grows 5′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin

Parentage unknown. Originated from a batch of seeds radioactively treated with cobalt. Introduced by K. Wittboldt-Müller Nursery, Germany in 1979.

Exposure: Prefers full sun to partial shade.

Soil: Prefers acidic, moist but well draining workable soil. Dislikes extremes such as wet or bone-dry soils.
