Japanese Black Pine - Cold White Eyes Of a Snake
A semi-dwarf variegated Japanese Black Pine. Each dark green needles consists of 2 bright yellow bands making it appear very similar to the original ‘Janome’ (Dragon’s Eye Pine). Upright, pyramidal, grows 6′ high by 3′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated in Japan. Listed by Coenosium Gardens, Washington in 1989.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun or all day indirect/filtered light.
Soil: Adaptable to various well drained soils which are slightly acidic. Salt tolerant.
Maintenance: Candling is done to new spring shoots before the needles fully emerge.
