Chinese Juniper - Trautman
A wonderful semi-dwarf selection of a Chinese Juniper. Resembles the tall narrow elegance of an Italian Cypress but with the cold hardiness of a Juniper. Compact form of soft, bluish-green foliage. Grows 6′ high by 2′ wide in a 10 year period.

Origin
Parentage unknown. Originated as a seedling from a crop of open-pollinated Juniperus chinensis seedlings at Johnson's Nursery, Wisconsin. Selected by Herbert Trautman.
Special Notes
Exposure: Full Sun to Part Sun.
Soil: Adaptable to various soils. Likes slightly acidic.
Maintenance: If desired, trim to shape by shearing/pruning during spring till July.
